With their intimate and distinctive sound, The Japanese House has made a name for themselves worldwide. Musician Amber Bain embodies this celebrated project; she is a modern alternative pop artist who combines vulnerable lyrics with earthy, almost ethereal songs.

On her current, highly acclaimed album, "In The End It Always Does," she explores themes such as heartbreak, lost love, childhood trauma, and identity—showing off her pop side like never before. She received support from Matty Healy and George Daniel (The 1975), Katie Gavin (MUNA), Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), and Charli XCX.

After a breakthrough year with sold-out headline tours in the US and UK, numerous festival appearances, and support shows for Maggie Rogers ("Don't Forget Me Tour"), Bain released the folk-infused single ":)" (Smiley Face).

This fall, she also appeared on a sparkling reinterpretation of the viral hit “Apple” and on Fred again..’s “backseat,” a remix of her own song “Sunshine Baby.”
