The Berlin band DIVANKO has been winning the hearts of listeners since 2017 with multi-part vocals, violin, guitar, banjo, ukulele, double bass, and various percussion. In Berlin and the surrounding area, in cafés and clubs, at festivals, in churches, and at private events.

DIVANKO is particularly drawn to the songs of Eastern and Southeastern Europe with their straight and crooked rhythms. From lyrical to danceable, songs from Turkey to Hungary and from Poland to Greece are performed. The songs tell of women and men, old and young, pain, farewells, schnapps and wine, love, dance, and moonlight – and how it all connects.
