An evening dedicated to French Baroque: under the title Grand Siècle, works from the court of Louis XIV will be performed – music by Cambefort, Le Camus, Lambert, Lully, Marais and other masters of that glorious era.

The compositions are accompanied by texts by the writer Madeleine de Scudéry, who embodies the spirit of the 17th century with her subtle wit and linguistic elegance.

You can look forward to an evening of music and literature that artfully combines sound and words. During the interval, a baroque confectionery table from the historic WUNDERKAMMER kitchen invites you to linger and enjoy – a feast for all the senses.

The evening's performers are Frieda Jolande Barck (soprano), Susanne Langner (alto), Sally Jaber (narrator) and the Sunday singers of the EMA congregation under the direction of Peter Uehling.

The event is organised by the WUNDERKAMMER.
