Other worlds are possible!
On Saturday, October 4th, Berlin will become a stage of possibilities: The Carnival for the Future will move from Neukölln Town Hall toward Kreuzberg.
Under the motto "Other worlds are possible!", it will highlight initiatives, collectives, and movements that are already developing visions for a more just future – a world in which solidarity is central, economic sustainability serves the common good and nature, and culture is not degraded to a commodity but understood as a tool for critical thinking and social cohesion.
With dance, music, and performative actions directly on the street, the carnival invites people of all ages and backgrounds to express and share their ideas for a social and sustainable future.
Behind the project are artists, activists, cultural and social workers, and citizens who believe in the transformative power of art and community. They are committed together to social, global, and climate justice – not with a wagging finger, but with imagination, humor, and joie de vivre.
