With "Crossing Horizons," the Jeunesse Chamber Choir aims to create a platform for the stories of people who have left their homeland and moved to a new country.

Themes such as farewell, new encounters, language acquisition, dreams, and desires are gradually explored through music and words. For this purpose, the choir recorded interviews with people with a migration history to enrich the music throughout the concert with real stories.

The program includes works by Renaissance masters such as Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Thomas Tallis, pieces by Clara Schumann and Hans Koessler, and contemporary composers such as Einojuhani Rautavaara, Laura Jekabsone, and Yannick Wittmann.
