A day trip on Berlin's rivers and canals
The starting point is Treptow Harbor. From there, the route leads via the Britzer Zweigkanal (Branch Canal) to the Teltow Canal and further onto the Havel River – with views of Pfaueninsel (Peacock Island) and the Grosser Wannsee (Great Wannsee) all the way to Spandau. The route then crosses the Spree River back into the city.
Passing the Federal Chancellery, the Reichstag, Museum Island, and the Nikolaiviertel (St. Nicholas Quarter), the route finally returns to the starting point via the Jannowitz Bridge.
The trip takes approximately 8.5 hours.
