Second event in the series "How political can the church be?"

There is a social consensus that individuals should express themselves politically and participate accordingly in a democracy. But does this also apply to the religious social sphere, representing the individual?

Historically, at some times, more confession would have been desirable, for example, during National Socialism or socialism. On the other hand, churches dilute their message when they become political actors.

How can the spheres of the earthly and the divine be separated at all? The problem already arises in the question of the formation of conscience.
