Experience Astor Piazzolla's musical journey to Paris in the 1950s! Inspired by his teacher Nadia Boulanger, he found his distinctive Tango Nuevo there – an exciting combination of traditional tango, classical composition and influences from the French music scene. This concert programme combines chansons, art songs and Piazzolla's revolutionary tangos into an impressive panorama that uniquely blends tradition and modernity.
