Matthias Gubig has been a successful typographer and book designer for over five decades. He also taught at the Berlin-Weißensee Art Academy for many years.

He began his printmaking edition, "Spätdruck," in 2003, on his own commission: texts that engage and move him, he designed in surprising and fascinating images and text. Typography, image printing, and book form are all unique in every book and always emerge from new ideas. The 25th volume in the series has now been published—and his anniversary will be celebrated together with Matthias Gubig.
