VISUAL Pop im Nordkiez: Das Comeback
Bea Be, Judith Schäfer and Nicholas Young develop unique songs from the moment on this evening. Never heard before, never heard again afterwards, because everything is improvised, with the help of the audience. The audience inspires the evening with song titles that the protagonists have never heard before.
Cosmic Race's music addresses the lasting effects of colonialism and the resulting cultural changes. The Brazilian artist's project reflects on identity, differences, and commonalities in a post-colonial world. Cosmic Race celebrates the universal and the collective, that which unites us and can bring us together again.
DJ Schaumkraut, the artist and DJ, plays with pop music from various countries in West Africa and the Caribbean in her sets. Nigerian disco sounds of the 1970s meet club edits by European sound artists.
