They say it’s good to whisper in the dark, but the cat on the roof is just bored: If only she could go down to the courtyard to visit the mice. Or fly to the moon, like the owl.
But no, she’s stuck on the roof – and what is there to do here all night? And what does “whispering” even mean? But as the clock strikes midnight, something begins to rustle and crinkle. Something’s moving – right where the old tablecloth was just lying!
A blacklight puppet theatre piece for children aged three and up – to marvel in the dark, laugh, whisper, and maybe be just a tiny bit spooked. But oh no – who’s really afraid of a tablecloth?
A production by Kindertheater LINGULINO – written and performed by Claudia Maria Franck
Recommended for ages 3 and up, duration: approx. 45 minutes
