Family Highland Games
The Family Highland Games in the Gardens of the World focus on fun, team spirit, and exciting competitions for all ages. Try your hand at log throwing, suitcase carrying, or barrel rolling – simply come to the competition area between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. and get started right away.Those seeking a sporting thrill can register for one of our official competitions (start times: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.). The best finishers can look forward to great prizes – from concert tickets to an annual pass to the Gardens of the World.
In addition to exciting competitions, the audience can expect a colorful supporting program:
Live music with the folk band Clover, traditional dances, medieval mock battles, and a diverse children's program with Mini Highland Games, theater, treasure hunts, and hands-on activities. Bagpipe sounds, fire magic, and pirate hip hop ensure unforgettable moments.
The Gardens of the World offer the perfect backdrop—a blend of Scottish tradition, a captivating atmosphere, and family fun.
