New experience format of the Festival of Lights celebrates its premiere
Festival of Lights IN CONCERT will kick off in 2025 as a new highlight of the renowned Festival of Lights in Berlin, which attracts millions of visitors. It will feature a series of immersive 3D light art shows and ambient music DJ sets by renowned artists in historic buildings. Top acts such as Alle Farben, Chris Bekker, Monika Kruse, Parra for Cuva and Schwarz & Wesseltoft (Henrik Schwarz & pianist Bugge Wesseltoft) will be performing.

While the annual fascinating light shows of the Festival of Lights illuminate the imposing Berlin Cathedral and the facades of other Berlin landmarks, the interior of the famous historic church building will become the venue for a spectacular interplay of 3D light art and ambient-style live electronic music from 10 to 14 October 2025.
Five evenings, nine concerts and 3D art shows, an emotional experience
On five evenings, nine unique shows will deliver a spectacle the likes of which Berlin has never seen before.
For each show, exclusive 3D projections will be created especially for the monumental interior of the church and synchronised live with ambient music by renowned musicians and DJs.
Visitors can expect an immersive total work of art combining light, music, space and emotion – a visual and auditory experience that goes far beyond classic concert formats.
Music and light merge into a language that speaks directly to the heart.
