
The cultural venue THE KNAST, located in the former women's prison in Lichterfelde, is exceptional in the best sense of the word, and not just because of its historic location.
The team is constantly coming up with new ideas in terms of cuisine and culture to offer guests plenty of variety.

20 August 2025 at 5 p.m. – architectural tour of the former women's prison with historical insights and the vision for its conversion into a cultural venue, 18+Stories of the inmates, historical information about the design of the façade and the building during its construction, and exciting facts about its conversion into a cultural venue in Berlin-Lichterfelde with restaurants, events and a future hotel with cell rooms and suites.

21 August 2025 at 6 p.m. – Dinner in the cell block, ‘Dine, Jazz & Burlesque’ at a long table with a 4-course menu and wine or drink pairing, accompanied by a live band, 18+
Culinary delights meet prison charm in the historic cell block. Dimmed lighting, a long festive table... and included in the ticket price is a live band with excellent jazz sounds and an international burlesque artist who has already conquered the stages of London and Paris.
In a unique atmosphere, enjoy an exclusive 4-course fine dining menu from the new head chef, including wine or drinks (1 glass 0.1 l per course).
