HOW DO PLANTS LEARN TO BE PLANTS?
Everyone is looking to the future, whether to plan what people will have for dinner or where they will spend their summer vacation. Researchers are looking at how people can help plants ensure their survival in the future.
Scientific questions relate to the benefits of plants for humans. Few have yet asked what the plants themselves think about their future.
A performance on the grounds of the Hahneberg Nature Conservation Station
It is now well known that plants communicate with each other.
- How can people talk to plants?
- What do plants think about their future?
- What means and tricks do plants have to communicate with people?
- What does "plant-like" sound like?
Together with visitors, actors, and puppets, the creative team will explore these questions on the grounds of the Nature Conservation Station.
The performance was created through interviews and workshops with children from school classes in Berlin and Luanda and with plant researchers.
Admission is free, but the team would be delighted to receive donations!
For everyone ages 10 and up
