On admission-free Family Sunday, the museum laboratory in the Museum Ephraim-Palais is transformed into a workshop where anyone can build instruments.

Here you can find out what materials can be used to create a musical instrument and how to make it. Depending on age and time available, more or less elaborate instruments can be built and taken home to make music on.

For example, an empty returnable bottle can be turned into a sound box for plucking and bowing under expert guidance. As easy to play as a miniature zither, it is perfect for creative sound experiments. Together we let the sounds resonate through the museum.
