Peter Lehel & Peter Schindler

On the occasion of the closing event of the exhibition “RESONANCES – Graphic Works on Music” by Helmut Müller, we are delighted to welcome musicians Peter Schindler (organ) and Peter Lehel (saxophone).

At the intersection of jazz and sacred sound, the duo Pipes and Phones – saxophonist Peter Lehel and organist Peter Schindler – brings both worlds together.

The organ provides the perfect backdrop for the expressive lines of the saxophone. Meditative passages alternate with rhythmic impulses, structured compositions meet improvisational freedom. A unique sound emerges that fills the space and touches the audience – an experience that transcends musical categories.

Peter Lehel is a saxophonist, composer, and arranger. He studied at the music academies in Stuttgart and Budapest and collaborates with renowned jazz and classical musicians.
