Dale Grant, Deni Horvatić und Daniel & Geo Fuchs
‘Bloom & Doom’ brings together works that deal with the beauty and fragility of nature, its destruction and its resilience.
Following the great success at the exhibitions in London and Basel, nüüd.berlin gallery is now showing the three photographic positions together for the first time in Berlin.
In Fading Beauty, Dale Grant portrays withering flowers as a symbol of the cycle of life - delicate, poetic, vulnerable. In his SCAN series,
Deni Horvatić irritates with everyday, life-size scenes and minimises the distance between the surroundings and the people depicted by choosing a specific angle ‘from below’. In their Nature & Destruction series,
Daniel & Geo Fuchs explore the contrasts between aesthetics and destruction in nature. Colours superimposed on the works and small signs of human intervention give the viewer pause and shake up the supposedly intact world.
‘Bloom & Doom’ is a photographic dialogue about decay, transformation and the fragile balance between man and nature.
