Du bist nicht allein_Diabetes-Charity-Gala
The Diabetes Charity Gala, which is taking place for the 14th time this year in Berlin-Mitte, is a festive evening with celebrities, show acts, the ceremonial presentation of the Thomas Fuchsberger Prize and the collection of donations for charitable projects.
All this with lots of press coverage, including live reporting and follow-up reports, to bring diabetes into the spotlight. It is not only a very enjoyable event, it is above all an important one.
In Germany, 11 million people (including an estimated 2 million unreported cases) have diabetes, and another 13 million have prediabetes, meaning that 1/3 of all people in Germany are directly affected by diabetes, including 1/3 of Berlin's residents and visitors.
