Rettet das Peppi!
Twenty international jazz greats will merge into three explosive ensembles for this evening only! Performers, drag queens, DJs, and musicians will all be on stage today in solidarity with Peppi. A treat for all the senses is guaranteed.
To save Peppi, Peppi is organizing an open-air solidarity festival that will boast a musical and artistic punch and send the audience off into the weekend unfiltered.
This will be a legendary summer party, as an incredible lineup has been put together, and the "Beach Neukölln" with its large stage and beach bar in Berlin's Bergbrauerei has been chosen as the worthy venue.
Drag show queen Prince Gabriel will guide you through the evening with charm and brilliance. And this is what it looks like:
Three live bands with a total of twenty outstanding musicians will play, bands that have formed just for this evening. Many big names from the Berlin and international jazz scene are among them, whose individual biographies would fill an entire program booklet.
To warm things up, arson artist Eddi Egal (ARSON ART) will perform his fire show – known for 30 years from Berlin stages like Tacheles.
Berlin-based artist Shimo will provide an intense counterpoint with his impressive Japanese Butoh dance.
The two Peppi DJs, DJ Jazz Ape & DJ Smorgasbord, will keep the turntables and ear bones vibrating throughout the rest of the evening with a mix of funk, jazz, soul, and Afrobeats.
Secure your tickets now. Advance sales are underway, and the first 150 tickets are only €20 instead of €25 plus advance booking fee, and €30 at the door.
