Rainer with AI and Micha from Marzahn may not be young anymore, but they're not so old that they wouldn't be a burden. They do this with their own, not to say idiosyncratic interpretations of songs, some of which are as old as they are. Support from musician friends is always welcome. The two particularly enjoy performing with the Chilean golden voice José Promis. As a singer-songwriter, he writes his own songs, in English or Spanish.

8zehn Saiten was born as a coronavirus project with the intention of keeping music alive, against all odds. The duo plays their favorite acoustic pieces from over twenty years of stage experience: from B to E, like the Beatles, Cash, Cohen, Dylan, Eagles, and Simon & Garfunkel.

His music is for everyone who needs it: for reflection, for progress, for laughter, and even for excitement. His credo: "The greatest revolution begins where the smallest heart knows love." And he conveys this authentically. The singer/songwriter and word juggler writes most of his songs himself. Profound lyrics, well-packaged in appealing melodies and equally well-rounded with a generous dose of humor, hit the mark and take the listener on a journey through all emotions.
The musician, who came from the north of Germany to Berlin via a detour, began writing his own lyrics at an early age and turning them into songs. He wants to share his thoughts and experiences with people and be understood. Consequently, he writes his songs almost exclusively in German and interprets them with voice, guitar, and harmonica.
