For an ACTION SOIREE in the large courtyard of the Kunstgewerbemuseum, architects Heike Hanada and Oda Pälmke have invited Berlin friends and colleagues of their generation to present their perspectives on structural and individual experiences as professionally engaged women born before 1970.
- How did they grow up, what did they experience, what have they achieved, where do they stand today?
- What is happening to values in this era of backward-looking social tendencies?
The statements will be presented to each other and reflected upon in the presence of the participants. In a present that is still far removed from the ideals of equality, the exhibition of personal, subjective contemporary documents will become a manifesto and will ultimately be presented as an artifact to the director of the Kunstgewerbemuseum, Dr. Sibylle Hoiman, for her collection.
ACTION SOIREE is a public political-artistic event, and guests are welcome.
Admission is free.
