Special guided tour with architect Dr. Fabian Hegholz and sculptor Andreas Artur Hoferick

The passageway from the Lustgarten to the Schlüterhof has recently been elaborately decorated with stucco again. Let us translate how the jewelry speaks to us.

Fabian Hegholz (born 1980) studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin until 2006 and received his doctorate there in 2015. He worked as a student assistant at Schulz und Schulz (Leipzig) and in the project office of Arte Charpentier and Nowotny Mähner in Shanghai.

Since 2010, Fabian Hegholz has been an employee of Prof. Franco Stella and the Franco Stella Berlin Palace Humboldt Forum project consortium for the reconstruction planning of the Berlin Palace (LPH 1-8). His tasks, which he now carries out as a freelancer, include the development of concepts and decision papers, the planning and supervision of sculptural work and the coordination of experts. He has planned the reinstallation of fragments and is the contact architect for the project community's Schlossbauhütte.
Since 2018, there has been a project-related collaboration with Springer Architekten (Berlin) on the design and implementation planning for the reconstruction of a Potsdam community center.

His own designs are committed to a predominantly traditional design language, which - if meant seriously - is given its timeless expression through the use of high-quality and natural building materials.
