"It's darkest just before dawn" – that's the motto of the debut album by British indie folk artist Jasmine.4.t., and perhaps also the apt guiding principle of her life so far.

This deeply moving album was created in Los Angeles, together with her band, which consists entirely of trans people, and the Trans Chorus of LA.
Even though it's not exclusively about trans experiences, Jasmine's queer perspectives are palpable in many moments. Musically, the work captivates with her delicate guitar playing and a warm, detailed indie folk aesthetic.
After a summer full of festivals and supporting shows for Lucy Dacus, Jasmine.4.t is finally coming to Berlin on a solo tour this fall.
