On January 16, 1938, Benny Goodman made music history: For the first time, a jazz band performed at the renowned Carnegie Hall – a milestone for swing and a sensation of its time.

More than 80 years later, Andrej Hermlin, with his Swing Dance Orchestra and soloists Rachel (vocals) and David (drums) Hermlin, faithfully revives this legendary concert.

Featuring guests: clarinetist Lorenzo Baldasso and Roland Neffe on vibraphone. An evening dedicated to jazz – captivating, authentic, and historic.
