This year's congress of the German Association for Rehabilitation (DVfR) is dedicated to the question of how the individually necessary adaptations in various areas of life can be implemented for young people with interfering physical or mental impairments.

Children and young people with complex health disorders often need specific help to cope with their developmental tasks. These support services must be tailored to their needs - which is too often not (yet) the case. As a result, full, effective and equal participation and the greatest possible self-determination are not achieved.

The two-day event will include specialist presentations, panel discussions and practice-oriented workshops in which those affected and self-help organisations as well as experts will have their say.

Registration via the DVfR website is required by 23 October 2025, 12 noon.

The registration deadline for accessibility requirements is 1 September 2025.

The participation fee is €130 for individual DVfR members / early bookers (if registered by 26 September 2025) and €150 for non-members of the DVfR.

Additional information
The congress is recognised as further training by the Berlin Medical Association, by the German Occupational Therapy Association and as part of the CDMP further training (Disability Manager).

Accessibility

The event can be organised barrier-free. Anyone who requires support or would like to bring an assistant or assistance dog is requested to inform us of their personal requirements by 1 September 2025 by emailing sekretariat@dvfr.de.
