The Mueckenheimer Trio's concerts are something truly special – masterfully and with great playfulness, the three musicians, led by guitarist and namesake Olaf Mücke, present primarily their own compositions, inspired by Klezmer, Gypsy Swing, Latin American music, jazz, and world music.

Some pieces originated from theater productions, thus having a very vivid background and serving as the basis for lively improvisations by their excellent fellow musicians Jens Saleh on double bass with its special gut string sound and Gerhard A. Schiewe on accordion.
The entire emotional barometer is musically portrayed and brought to life.
