The Yiddish Culture Festival

From June 10 to 15, Berlin will be transformed into a lively meeting place for artists, activists, and culture enthusiasts from all over the world. The Shtetl Berlin Festival pays homage to the rich Jewish heritage of Eastern Europe and celebrates Berlin's cultural diversity—with an eye toward the future of Yiddish culture.

Over six days, the festival presents a varied program of concerts, dance, theater, literature, lectures, workshops, and a children's program. From open jam sessions and intensive workshops to an open Sabbath celebration, the festival is aimed at all generations and invites people from all backgrounds.

The highlight of the festival is the grand dance ball on June 15 on the open-air stage of the UfaFabrik, following the closing concert with Black Rooster Kapelye and Cherry Bandora.
