We welcome you to the JAPANMARKT BERLIN Cherry Blossom Festival!

The magical time of Hanami is a dream of blossoming cherry blossom trees in Japan as well as in Berlin. Hanami means "looking at blossoms" or "the blossom show" (from Japanese "hana/花" = flower/blossom + "mi/見" = see/look/view).

For the first time, JAPANMARKT BERLIN will open its doors to you as a cherry blossom festival! Let's welcome the spring together :)

Artists and creatives from Japan and Berlin invite you to a colorful design market with cultural program, creative workshops and culinary delights.

Come with us on a journey to the land of the rising sun!

The special design market with Japanese flair will be opening its doors to all Japan fans at Festsaal Kreuzberg from 12:00 to 19:00. Visitors can look forward to art, culture, culinary delights and lifestyle from the land of the rising sun.

The JAPANMARKT cultural programme gives the public the opportunity to embark on a journey into traditional and modern Japan and get to know the diversity and changeability of this culture . For each event, the JAPANMARKT team curates a special selection of artists and prepares thematically coordinated contributions.
