Exhibition opening

A flowering rye field in the former border strip as a symbol of the cycle of life, peace, hope and the power of nature. The art project on the grounds of the Berlin Wall Memorial has become a living part of the memorial landscape on Bernauer Strasse as a biotope in its own right.

Because various actors and institutions have continued to get involved over the years, the original art project has grown into a multi-layered collaboration.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Roggenfeld, a new exhibition pays tribute to the commitment of many at the intersection of art, ecology, history, spirituality and politics in the heart of the capital.

Greetings:

  • Prof. Dr. Axel Klausmeier, Berlin Wall Foundation
  • Michael Spengler, Atelier denkwerk
  • Dr. Christina Roß, Humboldt University of Berlin
  • Anton Blöth, PeaceBread e.V.
  • Thomas Jeutner, Church Community at Gesundbrunnen

Afterwards there will be an opportunity for exchange and discussion in the exhibition.
