In her program Phantasticus electrified, harpsichordist Elina Albach presents her solo album, recorded in fall 2023, which is now being released. Contemporary compositions and world premieres—including those by Max Andrzejewski, Donnacha Dennehy, and Yuri Umemoto—enter into a fascinating dialogue with Baroque harpsichord music.

Using electronic devices such as playback devices, a loop station, and amplification, Albach expands the sonic spectrum of her instrument and opens up new, surprising sonic spaces. The harpsichord thus becomes a bridge between past and present.
