The motto of his performances between 13 October and 3 November will be the same as in July and August: ‘50LO’. The title refers, on the one hand, to the fact that he is performing solo and celebrating his 50th stage anniversary, and on the other hand, to his current album.

‘For “50”, I selected my favourite songs from each of my previous studio albums,’ says the singer, guitarist and pianist, ‘and added three new songs.’
The stage pro also reveals a few things about the concerts: ‘This tour is about remembering my beginnings, when I performed solo with guitar or piano accompaniment. I will also talk about the music at the guest performances, about the origin of the songs and their background.’
Chris de Burgh also performs a few cover versions, as his role models include Elvis Presley, Toto, as well as Lennon/McCartney, Paul Simon and Bob Dylan.
