Berlin is kicking off spring with a whole series of new openings. Whether you're travelling back in time at the Chronobar, experiencing magical moments at the immersive Magic Table or dancing the night away under the S-Bahn arches, these new openings are bringing fresh energy to all neighbourhoods. From pop-up saunas to ice-cold drinks in clear ice glasses, here are our top 11 tips for your next Berlin moment.
Tip 1: The 'Wortsport 26' festival celebrates its premiere
Berlin is cementing its reputation as the epicentre of verbal acrobatics: the Wortsport 26 Festival, which launches in February, is an innovative format that breaks the boundaries of traditional readings. The festival is one of the most exciting new formats in Berlin and covers the entire spectrum of spoken language: from freestyle rap and human beatboxing to sign language and choral speaking.
The new festival sees itself as a dynamic laboratory where established professionals meet the next generation of language artists (all born after 1999). Look forward to workshops and stage performances and an exciting kick-off at GRIPS Podewil.

"The Magic Table" invites you to a new, immersive dining experience that blurs the boundaries between reality and illusion. Enjoy an exquisite 5-course menu and experience how the table becomes a stage for a culinary magic show using projections, 3D storytelling and surprising effects. Behind the concept are none other than the world champions of mental magic, Thommy Ten & Amélie van Tass (The Clairvoyants), known from "America's Got Talent". Don't miss this impressive symbiosis of culinary perfection and state-of-the-art entertainment technology.
