The BerlinPay offer
During the BerlinPay campaign, there are several ways to do good and be rewarded for it. Anyone who has booked a three-hour brunch or evening cruise on the passenger ship van Loon and has travelled there by bike will receive a €10 voucher for the adjacent restaurant ship Van Loon. Please show your helmet when you arrive. This offer is limited and advance booking is required here.
The following dates are available:
- 24 May: Brunch cruise, from 11 am to 2 pm
- 25 May: Evening cruise, from 7 pm to 10 pm
Anyone taking part in a clean-up in cooperation with Berlin Kayak Tours and collecting litter along the water’s edge can also look forward to a free drink.
About Van Loon
The heart of the Kreuzberg local neighbourhood scene between “Kotti” (Kottbusser Tor) and Graefestraße may be not the first place to look for relaxing spots by the waterside. But they are there! Along the quay wall of the old Urban harbour, built in 1896 to unload coal for the residents of the working-class industrial area of Kreuzberg, the harbour area has today become a green inner-city oasis. The Van Loon (fixed restaurant ship) as well as the launches Philippa and Josephina are anchored here, whereby the latter two are also used for culinary trips on the waterways.
