Daniel Barenboim, Simon Rattle, Evgeny Kissin, Cecilia Bartoli, and Tugan Sokhiev all celebrated their first Berlin performance here.

What began in 1959 as "RIAS Presents" lives on today as the renowned series "Debut on Deutschlandfunk Kultur." It offers exceptional young musicians the chance to shine on the Philharmonie stage with the German Radio Symphony Orchestra (DSO) – and at the same time, reach a broad audience far beyond Berlin through the nationwide radio broadcast.
