World premiere of the new Cirque du Soleil show in Berlin
From November 2025, Berlin's Theater am Potsdamer Platz will be the venue for ALIZÉ, the new show by Cirque du Soleil, the famous artistic ensemble's first permanent European show.
The new show describes a journey into the unseen with a mixture of groundbreaking artistry and breathtaking magic, embedded in an adventure that transcends the boundaries of the imaginable.
Tickets for the new production, ALIZÉ, presented and co-produced by Live Nation, are already on sale.
ALIZÉ is the 54th original production and the first residency of Cirque du Soleil in Europe, which first pitched its tents in Germany 30 years ago.
Since 1995, when a new era began with Saltimbanco, 16 productions have performed in the Grand Chapiteau or arenas in 16 German cities.
Berlin is considered an ideal location for the first permanent Cirque du Soleil show in a European metropolis because of its cosmopolitan and international appeal.
Cirque du Soleil also wants to express its special connection to Berlin with this show.
In this new, innovative creation, in which artistry and magic merge, the protagonists embark on a journey into a surreal world. They try to reveal the invisible and thus discover the hidden magic behind reality. The poetic tour is full of wonders, riddles and magic.
The audience is transported to a world where the impossible becomes possible and the hidden reveals its secrets.
Captivating acrobatic performances and magical visualisations dissolve the boundaries between reality and imagination.
ALIZÉ celebrates the magic of humanity by immersing itself in a cosmos full of fantasy and wonder.
The shows at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz are Wednesday at 6:30 pm, Thursday at 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Sunday at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. There are no shows on Monday and Tuesday.
