TU Berlin presents final theses in the field of stage design and scenic space
From June 30 to July 2, 2025, graduates of the Master's program in Stage Design_Scenic Space at the Technical University of Berlin will present their final projects as part of the exhibition ZEIGT SZENE (SHOW SCENE). The exhibition venue—the former canteen on Teufelsberg—is a historically significant site that is now being revitalized as a cultural space.
A total of 18 Master's projects showcase the diversity of scenic design: from stage and costume designs to texts by Alice Birch and Noah Haidle to installation, immersive, and multimedia works on freely chosen topics.
A special highlight is the evening program on Wednesday, July 2, starting at 6 p.m.: With guided tours of the exhibition, live music, and DJ sets, the presentation of the works will be expanded into a public open-air format.
Artistic Practice Meets Social Attitude
The two-year Master's program in Stage Design and Scenic Space at TU Berlin combines design for stage, musical theater, and dance with concept development for exhibitions, performances, and space-based installations. The projects of the 22nd year explore the intersection of artistic practice, spatial research, and social positioning.
