Screen printing is a process in which the printing ink is printed onto the paper to be printed using a rubber squeegee through a fine-meshed fabric.

The mesh openings of the fabric are made impermeable to ink by a stencil at those points of the fabric where no ink is to be printed according to the printed image.

In this workshop you will learn how to produce simple screen prints in one or more colours using paper stencils. You will print with acrylic colours on paper (max. 25cm x 35cm).

After an introduction of 1,5 hours there will be enough time to implement your own ideas in the technique of screen printing in one or more colours.

The participants can take the resulting prints home with them and will also receive a certificate of participation.

Please bring a hairdryer and an old shirt to wear and, if possible, a small pair of nail scissors.
