Over 15 installations, sculptures and interventions have been set up in and around the Hamburger Bahnhof since it opened in 1996. The exhibition is supplemented every year with a new production that is permanently acquired for the National Gallery's collection.

The "Endless Exhibition" enables visitors to rediscover the works and reflect on the current relevance of the site-specific collection holdings: through public tours and a specially developed publication and website.
