A perfect summer in Berlin

When the sun shines in Berlin

It is always much too short, the summer in Berlin. Each time we want to do, discover and try so much that it would last for a whole year. Summer is just getting started. And with the following experiences we will make this year the best summer ever - at least!

In Berlin is only really summer when...

...we try our way through the city's ice cream shops and find our favourite variety between strawberry and poppy marzipan. ...we laugh our heads off in the open-air cinema or get goose bumps. ...we quickly drive to the next lake after work, jump into the refreshing water and enjoy the sunset. ...or at least when we drop onto a deck chair, dig our feet into the sand and enjoy a cocktail in a beach bar.

Summer only becomes really beautiful when...

...we with sunglasses on our noses and a tail wind ride all routes of the city by bike. ...we stroll over a lively market, eat sweet, ripe fruit and try unknown delicacies from the Orient or Asia. ...we invite our friends to a barbecue and picnic in the park. ...we dance and celebrate at one of the many open airs and street parties. And when the night is so warm that we just don't want to go to bed.

The summer in Berlin remains in our memory when...

...we dare a little adventure, for example a night hike in the Grunewald or the discovery of Berlin's hidden places. ...we are on the water, by boat, canoe, on a SUP surfboard or on water skis.

...we forget the city and make a day trip to Brandenburg, for example, to sail through the waters on a raft, to hike with a donkey or to drive a trolley on abandoned tracks.

lived already in Kiel, Düsseldorf, San Francisco and Gothenburg, but she was always sure she would return to her hometown Berlin. And she is going to stay a while. For the blog she is exploring the food scene of Berlin and looking for the best hummus in town (besides her own homemade hummus).
