Berlin loves food festivals!  Whether you like ramen, pats or vegan dishes, there are various food-related events for all tastes throughout the year. We have summarised our recommendations for events in autumn for you here. We wish you bon appétit!

Tip 1: Berlin Food Week

This year, Berlin's food and gastronomy scene presents itself in all its diversity. Together with Germany's most diverse food festival, you can celebrate enjoyment and talk about sustainability, quality and origin: This year, the special focus is on sustainable, organic and vegetarian-vegan indulgence. Try something new and discover the delicious sides of Berlin.

Tip 2: Eat! Berlin

Numerous culinary events take place during Eat! Berlin take place in the capital. In an exclusive autumn edition, the 2023 gourmet festival shows the creative potential of Berlin's gastronomy. The organisers will also offer you everything else you could wish for, from cheese to truffles to paella.

Tip 3: tipBerlin Food Festival

Italian specialties - that is the promising motto of the tipBerlin Food Festival. From October 2-6, various restaurants will be serving up delicious Italian dinners. In addition, there will be eight labs on current food topics. And at the food market in Clärchens Ballhaus on October 7 and 8, you can continue to feast on Italian delicacies at 25 stands.

Autumn time is pumpkin time. And the season is ushered in by the Pumpkin Festival on Akazienstraße and Belzigstraße. Pumpkins of all varieties will be transformed into soups, quiches, cakes, casseroles and other delicious dishes that you can enjoy right on the spot. And, of course, you can take home the whole pumpkin for homemade soups or Halloween decorations.

Tip 5: Harvets festival at Domäne Dahlem

Even more pumpkins await you at the harvest festival in the Dahlem domain. A market attracts with numerous autumnal offers and delicious dishes. And of course, autumn also includes kite making and flying. Live music, carriage rides and pony rides for the little ones round off the program.   

When: September 30 - October 1, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

With this name, you can probably already guess what you can taste at Cheese Berlin: Under the motto Everything you can make from milk you can taste high-quality cheeses from over 30 selected producers, affineurs and traders. Cheese makers from all over Europe await you. This year's event will also feature Heinzelcheesetalk tastings, workshops on making your own cheese, meet the cheesemakers talks and lots of expert discussion.

Tipp 7: True Italian Pasta Week

Whether spaghetti, tagliatelle, orechiette, ravioli or gnocchi: Pasta in all variations can be enjoyed during True Italian Pasta Week.The participating restaurants offer you two specially created pasta dishes that are not usually on the menu. Plus a delicious appetizer - and the whole thing for just 15 euros.

Tip 8: Berlin Ramen Festival

Ramen has become increasingly popular in recent years.And now all fans of the Japanese specialty can come together at the Berliner Berg Brauerei and enjoy it together.In addition to the ramen offerings, there are many other Japanese dishes that will introduce you to the diversity of Japanese cuisine. At the same time, the festival, which takes place as part of Sake Week, also aims to bridge the gap between cultures.

The Beachfood Festival promises lots of fun for the little ones, too.In addition to local and international food at more than 30 stands, the festival also offers live music from all genres and entertainment for young and old, be it raft tours on the water or games in the Kidsspace.

At the Mexican Festival of the Dead, the living celebrate a joyous folk festival at which they see the dead again according to ancient Mexican beliefs - with music, dancing and, of course, delicious food.The festival at the Humboldt Forum also aims to address questions about this world and the hereafter. It takes place on the occasion of the exhibition in_finite. Living with Death, which is also worth a visit.

Tip 11: Veggienale & FairGoods

Veggienale & FairGoods is not a festival, but a trade fair where you can learn about plant-based nutrition and fair trade.But you will not only learn more about sustainable topics at workshops, cooking shows and lectures, but also have the opportunity to try vegan dishes in the food area.  

When: November 17 - 18, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
