Berlin loves Food Festivals! Whether pasta, cheese, ramen or vegan food: There are various food-related events for all tastes throughout the year. We have summarised our recommendations for culinary events in autumn for you here. Enjoy your meal!

Tip 1: Pumpkin festival

Autumn time is pumpkin time. Come to the Pumpkin Festival in Akazienstraße and in Belzigstraße: Here, pumpkins of all kinds are transformed into soups, quiches, cakes, casseroles and other delicious dishes that you can enjoy on the spot. And of course you can also take a whole pumpkin with you for your own recipes or Halloween decorations

You can celebrate Thanksgiving at the Kulturforum this weekend. The museums at the Kulturforum open their doors for the admission-free Museum Sunday and offer numerous programmes for young and old to take part in. They will also be serving up delicious surprises at the longest table in the city under the trees of the Kulturforum tree nursery on Scharounplatz.

This year, Berlin's food and gastronomy scene is once again in top form: at Germany's most diverse food festival, you can celebrate enjoyment and talk about quality and origin: This year, the special focus is on sustainable, organic and vegetarian-vegan dishes. Try something new and savour the delicious sides of Berlin.

Tip 4: True Italian Pizza Week

Pizza, pizza, pizza: during True Italian Pizza Week around 30 excellent pizzerias are serving up special offers. You can choose between two delicious pizzas and an Aperol or Crodino Spritz for just €16. For example, there are pizzas with pumpkin cream, 'Nduja, caramelised onions and burrata; sweet potato cream, spicy salsiccia, provola, black pork pancetta; artichoke cream and caciocavallo cheese. Enjoy the flavours,

Tip 5: Beachfood Festival

The Beachfood Festival promises lots of fun for the little ones too. In addition to local and international food at more than 30 stalls, the festival also offers live music from all genres and entertainment for young and old, be it raft tours on the water or games in the Kidsspace.

Tip 6: Cheese Berlin

With this name, you can probably already guess what to expect at Cheese Berlin: Under the motto "Everything you can make from milk", you can sample high-quality cheese from more than 30 selected suppliers in Markthalle Neun. Savour cheeses from all over Europe. This year, there will also be Heinzelcheesetalk tastings, DIY cheese-making workshops, meet-the-cheesemaker talks and plenty of expert discussion.

Tip 7: True Italian Pasta Week

Whether spaghetti, tagliatelle, orrechiette, ravioli or gnocchi: Pasta in all variations can be enjoyed during True Italian Pasta Week. The participating restaurants offer you two specially created pasta dishes that are otherwise not on the menu. There will also be a delicious appetiser - and all for just 15 euros.

Tip 8: Stollen test of the bakers' guild

So Christmas can come: At the Stollen Test of the Bakers' Guild, the the traditional German Christmas cake, the so-called Stollen, not only compete in the public test, but also for consumption. You can taste your way through the tastiest stollen in town and then choose your personal favourite. The jury will judge the stollen according to criteria such as shape, appearance, surface, crust, smell and, of course, flavour.

Tip 9: Berlin Tea Festival 2024 - love, peace & tea

love, peace & tea is the name of the game at the Berlin Tea Festival, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Tea producers, traders and fans from all over the world come together to taste and rediscover the finest teas. You will receive an exclusive porcelain bowl and can taste tea, listen to lectures and take part in a Japanese tea ceremony. On 24 November, Berlin Tea Sunday, there will be events in tea shops and restaurants all over Berlin.

Tip 10: Raw Wine Berlin

Raw Wine Berlin celebrates the best wines! Around 100 winemakers from all over the world come to Markthalle Neun to present their wines. You can find out more about the origin and production of the wines, which are all produced naturally. And of course you can also taste them - and perhaps find a new favourite wine.

The Veggienale & FairGoods is not actually a festival, but a trade fair where you can find out all about plant-based nutrition and fair trade. Not only will you learn more about sustainable topics at the workshops, cookery shows and talks, but you will also have the opportunity to try vegan dishes in the food arena.
