Ticket: Rheinsberg House ‒ The Court of Muses at Grienericksee including the Kurt Tucholsky Literaturmuseum in Rheinberg (Mark) Brandenburg

Successively inhabited and made famous as a court of muses, Rheinsberg House on the banks of a charming lake called Grienericksee was the favourite location of the brothers Crown Prince Frederick II. and Prince Henry. Numerous works of art adorn its royal interiors, taking visitors back to the 18th century.

Ceiling paintings by Antoine Pesne

With its myriad paintings and decorative art objects on display, Rheinsberg House conveys an authentic impression of the interior decor, lifestyle and passion for collecting shared by the former owners. But there’s more to discover: Amor (Cupid), the god of love and his cheeky companions, found in one of the ceiling paintings by Antoine Pesne, is sure to put visitors in a romantic mood.

The Kurt Tucholsky Museum in Rheinsberg

The Kurt Tucholsky Museum is located in a wing of Rheinsberg House. Your ticket also entitles you to visit the literature museum ‒ an encounter with literature and its author Kurt Tucholsky.
