Tip 1: New club nights in the Alte Feuerwache at THF

This late summer, the historic fire station on the ground floor of the THF TOWER will be transformed into a temporary dance floor. From over 200 applications to the open call, six collectives have been selected to curate a programme running from August to October 2025 — spanning performances, club nights, and more, with a strong focus on diversity, community, and awareness. Expect workshops, discussions, live sets, performances, and unforgettable nights on the dance floor. It’s a rare chance to step behind the scenes at the former airport — this time trading fire engine sirens for deep bass lines.

Tip 2: Goldhelm Schokolade & Eiskrämer opens in Berlin

The Eiskrämer is a new place for indulgent moments in the middle of the hustle and bustle of West Berlin. Goldhelm has brought its fine Eiskrämer concept to Berlin's Tauentzienstraße. Look forward to hand-scooped ice cream and chocolate creations. The homemade natural ice cream is available in a variety of creamy and fruity flavours that not only look like little works of art, but also taste delicious. Vegan flavours are of course also available, as are the hand-finished chocolate bars from the Erfurt-based fine chocolatier.

Tip 3: Dolce Dahme invites you to new beats & brunch by the water

Fancy a short Mediterranean holiday in Köpenick ? The new NYX Hotel is now hosting an all-you-can-eat buffet with a live DJ, caprese, vitello tonnato & pasta and a flat rate for sparkling wine every last Sunday of the month. You can sit on the sun terrace right by the water with a view of the Dahme and the castle. And thanks to fair kids' prices, the new brunch with a holiday feeling is also family-friendly.

Tip 4: Sweet Jamaica brings jerk chicken & yard vibes to the neighbourhood

From food truck to permanent spot: With Sweet Jamaica, a piece of the Caribbean has landed on Hermannplatz. Juicy jerk specialities are served from the grill, with rice, plantains and everything that goes with it - Caribbean music included. If you like it even more relaxed, treat yourself to a weekend feeling like in Kingston at Yard Vibes in the beer garden on General-Pape-Straße.

Tip 5: Midtown Grill - reopening with a new look

Back with a fresh flair! In September 2025, the Midtown Grill in the Berlin Marriott Hotel at Potsdamer Platz will reopen. You can expect masterfully prepared steaks and classic steakhouse specialities, which you can experience being prepared in the show kitchen . The newly designed ambience brings a New York steakhouse feel to Berlin with high-quality materials such as marble, bronze and wood veneers.

Tip 6: Newly opened Westwing flagship store in Berlin

Since the beginning of August, the newly opened Westwing flagship store on Ku'damm has been presenting curated living worlds you can touch - with natural materials, atmospheric room sets and digital features such as QR codes. You can seamlessly order larger pieces and take smaller ones home with you. The Westwing Design Service provides personal advice on site - for stylish solutions without the hassle.

Tip 7: Art-Domino® brings "Your City in Pop Art" to the Europa Centre

Art-Domino® turns art into a construction kit: In the newly opened gallery branch in the Europa-Center, you are invited to combine city motifs and colours to create your own unique piece - on canvas, porcelain, acrylic or truck tarpaulin. And for when you're out and about, you can have your favourite Berlin landmarks or your own personal favourite motifs printed on mugs or bags in a high-contrast pop art style.

Tip 8: Marga Schoeller Bücher relaunches in Charlottenburg

A Berlin institution is moving and reopening as "Marga Schoeller Bücher" a few doors down. The bookshop has characterised the literary scene around Savignyplatz since 1929 - now with a fresh look and a familiar curated selection. A place to browse, experience signing sessions and find favourite books - for the neighbourhood and guests alike.

Tip 9: LEGO Store moves to new branch

Lego is also relocating to a new shop with an open, modern design. Look forward to a new pick-a-brick wall, interactive craft stations and much more. The popular minifigure tower will of course also be back. Lego is also organising regular building challenges for fans - offering a new place where young and old can let off steam creatively. If you don't want to wait until September, you can have fun at the Legoland Discovery Centre.

Tip 10: Vincent: Between madness and wonder - experience Van Gogh in 360°

Art that touches. From 26 September 2025, the immersive exhibition "Vincent: Between Delusion and Wonder" will open at the New Media Art Center in Friedrichshain. Van Gogh's most famous works will come to life in a spectacular 360-degree staging - projected onto impressively large surfaces, accompanied by sound, quotes and emotional storytelling that makes his final creative years tangible. A sensual synthesis of the arts that combines painting with modern technology.

Tip 11: Lost Art Festival with a new concept

There's even more immersive art at the Lost Art Festival, which this time has a new concept and takes over a huge area of 14 halls over three levels at Luxwerk. The three-day festival format combines art, culinary delights, live music, DJ sets, talks and performances to create a unique mountain experience - and, as always, in an exciting historical location that you can explore in its original state for the last time at the Lost Art Festival. osram built Europe's first fully automated glassworks here in 1928.
