Tip 1: Browse Vintage Revivals for timeless designer pieces
At Vintage Revivals, you can find unusual second-hand fashion with style - from real luxury labels. Tip 2: Soul & Style has vintage for fans of the 80s and 90s
Puffer jackets and vintage knitted jumpers, legwarmers and leather jackets: Find vintage hits from the 80s and 90s in these second-hand shops. You won't have to rummage long to find wildly patterned sweatshirts, windbreakers, crazy patterned sports shorts and, of course, all the essential accessories. First come, first served!

Tip 3: Dear revives retro trends
You can find unique designer pieces at Dear at Stargarder Straße 9 in Prenzlauer Berg. The vintage shop originally specialised in men's fashion, but you will also find more and more women's items, many from selected designer labels, YSL, Louis Vuitton and Jill Sander. These fine second-hand pieces truly deserve a second life. . A dream!
With shops in seven major German cities, True Vintage has now established itself as a label for a timeless retro style.

Tip 4: Find real one-offs at #HAHAYOUREUGLY
At first they sold their personal and at that time already very own wardrobe via Kleiderkreisel (today vinted.de). At the flea market at Mauerpark, Kacper and Armin's booth quickly became a permanent institution. Two store collectives followed and then finally their own second hand store in Friedrichshain. Mission of #HAHAYOURUGLY is to transform second hand, old, weird and all other ugly ducklings into their own version of "beautiful". All brands and designers are also available in the Vintage Online Store.

Tip 5: Real jeans & sneakers heroes go to Paul's Boutique
Casual brand-name things are second-hand bought not only much cheaper, but also often much cooler and more comfortable. The Levis are already registered, the Nikes, Pumas, Converse and Adidas have already seen the asphalt. If you dress up at Paul's Boutique, you're ready to hit the streets of the city - with style and charm and a few cool retro pieces that you wouldn't find on sale new. The assortment ranges from streetwear to designer pieces. By the way: Paul's boutique also runs a treasure trove for filmmakers and other creative industry professionals: vintage band t-shirts, leather jackets and other originals from decades past.

Tip 6: Individualists will find what they're looking for at V Vintage
From Levis jeans and cowboy boots to T-shirts with crazy prints, colourful waistcoats, patterned knitted jumpers, Hawaiian shirts with dragon prints and leather jackets, you'll always find great unique pieces at V Vintage. Tip 7: For those who like to browse - Vintage stuff
Everything is so colorful here! Patterned shirts and knitted sweaters, but also various super cool vintage leather jackets, denim and much more can be found in these two vintage stores in Berlin. V Vintage is more specialized on ladies, at Vintage Stuff the rocker heart beats faster. By the way: V Vintage also has an online second hand store at Etsy.

Tip 8: Humana, Resales, Oxfam
Berlin is a real second-hand stronghold. Humana alone operates 20 shops in Berlin, Resales has ten shops in the city and there are also eight Oxfam shops spread across the neighbourhoods. There are also three Pick'n'Weight | Made in Berlin shops, regular vintage pop-up stores, clothes swaps and countless other private shops and shops. It's a shame we can't include them all here.

Tip 9: Shop by the kilo at Fajny/fajna
Fajny/fajna sells second-hand clothes by weight. The price per kilo changes daily. Fridays are the most expensive, at 45 euros per kilo, because new goods are stocked up on this day, then it gets cheaper every day until the price per kilo is 20 euros on Thursdays. The price applies to all garments, no matter what brand or material. Leather jackets are sold at a fixed price of 20 euros and every few months there is a 2 euro sale that applies to all items in stock in the shop. For your own discarded clothing, you can get 5 euros per kilogram at Fajny/fajna.

Tip 10: For friends of good taste - Repeater
Repeater is actually the title of an album by the band Fugazi. In any case, the Repeater's operators are big fans and run their second-hand store according to the principles of its namesakes, namely to do what you love, to get involved with your neighborhood, to work together with your buddies and to behave fairly and with respect towards everyone. We hardly have anything to add to that... Oh, but: Have fun browsing!

Tip 11: Upcycling & Repair culture: Repair Cafés
Do you want to upcycle your clothes, repair an old camera you bought at a flea market or need to change the battery in your mobile phone? Then Berlin's workshops and repair cafés are the right place for you. There are quite a few of them in Berlin. You'll see that sewing, making and repairing things yourself is fun and worthwhile: the costs are zero, the CO2 that is released during the manufacture of new products is saved - and you get to meet great people in the process!
