The bear hunt is over – this evening we will find out who will take home the Golden Bear and who has won one of its silver brothers.

Ten days of the Berlinale are almost over; they have passed incredibly quickly. Just a moment ago, we were sitting in the opening films, and now we are saying goodbye until next year. Just a moment ago, we were happily holding our first tickets in our hands – or calling them up on our smartphones. Soon we will be waiting for the Berlinale 2027, when it will be time to raise the curtain and start the film again .

But the festival isn't over yet: if you're looking for last-minute tickets for today or tomorrow's public day, check the Berlinale website to see which films are still available. There are still some tickets left, so take a look and choose a film that you wouldn't otherwise get to see on the big screen.

Josephine

At the end of the competition, there was another intense and impressive film. Eight-year-old Josephine witnesses a brutal rape in the park. Her father (Channing Tatum) manages to apprehend the perpetrator, but the girl is deeply disturbed by the event. Josephine tries to understand what she has seen and how she can deal with it. The perpetrator's ghost haunts her and she becomes increasingly violent. For her sports-obsessed father, the solution is to enrol her in a self-defence course, and her mother also gives up on trying to take her to a psychologist.

Instead, her parents argue about whether Josephine should testify in court. The court case at the end, seen from Josephine's perspective, is one of the most powerful scenes in the entire film, which makes you sympathise with the little girl who has to come to terms with a horrific event.

However, it is difficult to understand why her parents do not seek professional help for her, even though she is clearly deeply disturbed. And so, despite the powerful, grippingly staged story, a void remains.

does not smile on fotos. But in real life she enjoys with a smile in her face the rich cultural life of Berlin - the metropolis both in front of and behind the scenes. Her favourite season is the Berlinale, then she spends 10 days watching movies and writing about them in the blog.
