Tip 1: Coffee with a view of the Engelbecken
A classic in Kreuzberg: tucked away right by the water is the Café am Engelbecken. Spring begins when you have breakfast outside on the terrace for the first time of the year, looking out over the Engelbecken, drinking delicious latte and squinting in the sun.

The Weyers restaurant and café is located directly on Ludwigkirchplatz , where the whole neighbourhood meets in summer. For years, Café am Neuen See has been one of the city's most popular cafés and beer gardens. No wonder, given its romantic location on the shore of a small lake in the middle of Tiergarten.
