It's Raining Men, Bad Romance or would you prefer Dancing Queen? You choose the song, we'll find the location for your big moment in Berlin's nightlife: whether you retreat to a private booth with friends, spontaneously take to the stage in front of strangers or belt out your favourite ballad in the glittering lights of a drag bar - Berlin's karaoke scene is just as diverse as you are. We show you 11 places where your favourite songs can turn into a great performance.
Tip 1: Perform under disco balls at Monster Ronson's

With Monster Ronson' s, we start our list with one of Berlin's most legendary karaoke bars - and a true Friedrichshain original. Located directly on Warschauer Brücke, not far from the club scene around Holzmarkt, the shrill and colourful club with private karaoke booths, fog machines and a unique show programme attracts all kinds of singing stars to its stages.
You can belt out one hit after another with up to 16 people in the customised booths named after singing icons such as Amy Winehouse or Kurt Cobain. The song selection is huge, the audience is open and queer-friendly - and if you dare, you can also perform on the main stage in front of the aforementioned audience on open stage nights. Regular drag shows, theme parties and DJ sets make Monster Ronson's a colourful meeting place for music enthusiasts!
When: Daily from 6 pm
Where: Warschauer Str. 34, Friedrichshain
Tip 2: Private theme parties on two floors at King Karaoke

We continue in the west of the city with King Karaoke. The Charlottenburg singing paradise spans two royal floors and an area of over 500 square metres. It thus holds the title of Berlin's largest karaoke location. There is room for eight to thirty singers in seven private, themed karaoke rooms. There is also plenty of musical variety on offer.
With 52,000 songs, you are spoilt for choice - there are even nine language options. The themed rooms are perfect for birthday parties or private singing fun with your loved ones. And if you dare, you can take the mic on the open party stage.

The Upside Down at Potsdamer Platz is a unique world of experience full of shapes, colours and illusions. Here you can forget everyday life for a short time - the perfect prerequisite for immersing yourself in another world on the microphone. To ensure that the immersive exhibition experience also reaches visitors musically, there are four karaoke booths in the Upside Down where you can perform your own private show with up to seven friends.
The Upside Down is the right place for those who want to add a visual touch to their karaoke fun: The karaoke booths are designed as a Bowie studio, golden disco or MTV lounge, making them perfect for anyone who wants to be seen as well as heard.

In spacey themed rooms reminiscent of UFO cockpits or favourite series such as Starship Enterprise, you can sing your way through galaxies of neon light, LED starry skies and futuristic sound design. Each room is individually furnished with HD screens, state-of-the-art technology and individually controllable lighting moods.

Tip 5: Rocky and wicked showtime at the Poison Bar

The Poison Bar Berlin is a karaoke bar with showbiz flair in the heart of Neukölln's trendy neighbourhood. With its dark interior and red velvet curtains, it is reminiscent of a rocking burlesque bar. One thing should be said here: this tip is aimed at the braver karaoke stars among you, as there are no private booths here. Karaoke means showtime at the Poison Bar! There is only one stage, one microphone, spotlights and lots of applause.
The charming thing about the Poison Bar is, of course, that nobody expects perfect singing here - you can hit the notes, but you don't have to. Because once the audience starts roaring along, nobody will hear if you miss a note or two anyway... If you fancy a night of music, stage fright and a touch of nightclub , this is the place to be!
When: Tuesday to Sunday from 8 pm
Where: Flughafen Str. 39, Neukölln
Tip 6: Make a chic entrance at the Cheers KTV Bar

Charlottenburg stands for elegance, West Berlin charm and a little pinch of luxury. You won't just find this in KaDeWe or on a stroll through Charlottenburg Palace Park, but also in front of the microphone: the Cheers KTV Bar in Wilmersdorfer Straße is a karaoke address that does justice to the stylish flair of its neighbourhood.
For over ten years, the bar has been offering upscale Japanese-style karaoke experiences in air-conditioned VIP rooms that can accommodate groups of six to twenty-five people. The singing takes place in front of large screens with the best sound quality, breaks are taken on comfortable designer sofas and you can refresh yourself with delicious cocktails - or would you prefer a bottle of champagne?
When: Daily from 7 pm
Where: Wilmersdorfer Str. 76, Charlottenburg
Tip 7: KiezKaraoke on demand from Berlin party expert DJ Borstel

KiezKaraoke doesn't wait for you to find it, it comes to you without further ado - charming, loud and with a good dose of Berlin flavour. Behind this mobile karaoke service is DJ Borstel, once a resident at the legendary Knaack Klub, now a professional for spontaneous mood explosions with over 15 years of experience.
He has professional equipment, a huge selection of songs in several languages, movie karaoke on request and a presenter who combines trash show, rock'n'roll and Berliner Schnauze into a unique one-man show. If you're lucky, you might even get to see a little pyrotechnics or Borstel's infamous wig..
When: Times on request
Where: You organise the location, Borstel brings the party
Tip 8: Korean karaoke at Sori Kono Berlin

Berlin wouldn't be Berlin if the karaoke scene wasn't also characterised by international influences. After all, the party fun comes from Japan. Although Korea, the home country of our next karaoke tip, is a few kilometres away from the country of origin, it has developed its very own tradition over time. This is called Norebang and is a Korean version of karaoke with soundproof rooms and plenty of space for social interaction.
With Sori Kono Karaoke, Schöneberg now finally has its own Norebang bar where you can sing undisturbed. Book your slot easily via Instagram, pay on site and enter the simple booths with an extensive selection of songs. And don't worry: in addition to K-pop hits, you can also sing Udo Jürgens or Abba here!
When: Time slot by arrangement from 1 pm to 10 pm
Where: Dominicusstr. 41, Schöneberg
Tip 9: Variety theatre atmosphere at Knutschfleck on Alexanderplatz

It's not just the view from the top of the TV tower that gives you an insight into Berlin life, there are also a few secrets lurking under the TV tower. Or have you ever heard of the Knutschfleck? This is not a mischievous neck accessory, but a unique variety party bar in the nightlife district around Hackescher Markt, which is transformed into the wildest karaoke backdrop in the city every Thursday.
From the early evening, the stage is yours and you only have to share it with Martin Martini, the karaoke DJ with over 50,000 songs under his belt. You can expect a unique atmosphere in the style of a 50s cocktail bar, where you will be served almost 100 mixed drinks including his own creations such as the Schlüpperstürmer. Clear the stage and enjoy the show!
When: Thursday from 6 pm
Where: Panoramastraße 1A, Mitte
Tip 10: Norebang kraoke meets corner pub charm at the Noka Korea Bar

The cosy Noka Korea Bar in Wedding feels like a charming cross between a Berlin corner pub and Korean Norebang karaoke. Behind the inconspicuous door are dimly lit rooms, creaky sofas and karaoke with heart. You sing in small groups, drink cold beer or Korean soju, choose the right song from international songs or K-pop hits and share the mic in wild succession with the other bar visitors.
The ambience is more neighbourhood than glitz and has plenty of soul. If you prefer real K-pop to pop star staging and celebrate karaoke as communal chaos rather than perfect performance, Noka is the perfect place for you!
When: Daily from 7 pm
Where: Schulstraße 29, Wedding
Tip 11: Sing the night away with tinsel and disco lights at Rauschgold

An evening at Rauschgold is like a visit to the kitschiest and warmest living room in town. The karaoke institution on Kreuzberg's Mehringdamm in Bergmannkiez takes you into a queer dream world full of glitter, tinsel and disco lights. When drag shows or song contests are not being organised here, Rauschgold invites its song-loving audience to karaoke.
No matter whether you perform pop, pop songs or power ballads. When you take to the stage here, you can be sure of the audience's support! The atmosphere is playful, the drinks are strong and the whole place lights up as if it were New Year's Eve every day. The ideal address if you want to perform karaoke in front of an audience that is guaranteed to be in your favour!
When: Daily from 8 pm
Where: Mehringdamm 62, Kreuzberg
