The new exhibition of the Freundeskreis Willy-Brandt-Haus "NACHLEBEN - Versiegelte Geschichte(n) von Arbeit und Migration" shows the overlapping uses of Stalag VII A - a former German prisoner-of-war camp.

NACHLEBEN – Versiegelte Geschichte(n) von Arbeit und Migration
Sandra Ratkovic explores the temporal layers of this camp in her photographs. For the first time, she had the opportunity to document abandoned interiors and artefacts that bear witness to a past life. She also traces stories of labour migration and explores the lives of the residents: inside from countries such as Turkey, Italy and the former Yugoslavia.
