Jill Mulleady (*1980 in Montevideo, Uruguay) and Henry Taylor (*1958 in Ventura, USA) share a long-standing, close friendship and a passionate devotion to painting. Their joint exhibition "You Me" is an expression of the bond between two artists of different generations and cultural backgrounds, who are nevertheless united by their love of painting and their constant reference to art history.

In their figurative paintings, Mulleady and Taylor reveal ambivalences that inevitably ask viewers to position themselves in relation to painting by exploring themes such as the confrontation of private and public and the representation of the body.
