With 2,000 objects from the collection, the Museum of Communication tells over 40,000 years of communication history on 3,000 square meters - from hand axes to smartphones.


Discover unique objects such as the legendary Blue Mauritius, Philipp Reis's first telephone or the legendary Enigma cipher machine.

Send a letter by pneumatic tube, send a telegram to Hamburg in the morning or present the news in the television studio.

From smoke signals to pneumatic tubes to virtual messages: the Museum for Communication Berlin brings the topic of communication to life in a diverse and interactive way.

Price info: Free admission for under 18s, refugees, supervised school classes from general and vocational schools, Museum Pass Berlin holders, members of the Deutscher Museumsbund, members of the ICOM, trainees, presscard holders, and groups of 15 people and over on Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon.

On the first Sunday of every month, admission is free.
